The Leap Group worked with the newly formed e-Business Division, merging product strategies of 5 separate companies. Over the course of 2001/2002, we launched Sybase’s new e-Business infrastructure software with a compelling, differentiable vision in a crowded market space. Through effective positioning, we successfully launched a number of strategic products spanning application servers, enterprise portals, business process integration, development tools, and database management systems. These launches and marketing programs contributed to impressive results:


• Revenue growth of 20% in the first year.
• Increased market share on all strategic initiatives.
• Sybase Enterprise Portal (EP) sales increased 250% in one of the worst    years for software.
• Sybase EP achieved a position in the Gartner Magic Quadrant.
